Joe Bogner
Joe is the Chief Data Scientist at INSIGHT2PROFIT. He has 15 years of experience at INSIGHT and over 24 years in total spanning Consulting, Technology, and Data Science. Joe leads the strategy and application of artificial intelligence and machine learning (AI/ML) practice. In his prior roles at INSIGHT, he was involved in the strategy and execution of client engagements, creation of the INSIGHT2PROFIT DRIVE platform, launching custom tools for clients, and modeling and analytics.
Prior to INSIGHT, Joe held various roles in financial software development at Ohio Savings Bank and in consulting software development at Avanade, a provider of innovative digital, cloud and advisory services, industry solutions and design-led experiences across the Microsoft ecosystem.
Examples of Joe’s experience include:
- Directed over 80 engagements leveraging AI/ML across dozens of industries and applications including pricing, demand forecasting, deal scoring, and predictive attrition
- Delivered integrated, real-time machine learning engines including a solution for a $4B metals distributor to eliminate 2 days from the quotation process by estimating the cost of infrequently purchased materials instead of sourcing an actual cost from vendors
- Drove growth at a large food distributor by mining 25M transactions to identify over 4 million cross-sell and up-sell opportunities
Joe earned his M.S. in Data Analytics from Western Governors University and his BBA from Cleveland State University.
Jonathan Durkee
Jonathan brings over 20 years of experience in the B2B software industry primarily in product and general management to his role as Chief Operating Officer at INSIGHT2PROFIT.
Prior to joining INSIGHT, Jonathan was with Verizon Connect where he served as General Manager for a business unit focused on expansion into a new product category while also serving as Vice President of Product Management for the large and rapidly growing core GPS vehicle tracking segment. Jonathan has experience serving customers of all sizes, with companies at all stages of growth as well as experience working in and across multiple functions.
Jonathan earned his B.A. in Mass Communications from Miami University.
Mike Smith
Mike is the Director of Client Solutions at INSIGHT2PROFIT. Mike has more than 20 years of experience providing value through the wise application of technology. He is proficient in driving improvements, finding technical solutions, and providing product support and maintenance
Prior to joining INSIGHT, Mike held several leadership positions including Chief Technology officer for Eurofins TestOil, a full-service oil and fuel testing laboratory, and Enterprise Architect at Elixir, a pharmacy benefits and services organization. He also co-founded HyperProductive, LLC a custom software development company.
Sierra Leonard
Sierra is the Senior Product Manager of Applications and Integration at INSIGHT2PROFIT. Specializing in B2B software and technology implementation, Sierra is committed to designing and managing solutions that create long-term profit impact for clients and their communities. She achieves this by identifying and capitalizing on profitability opportunities with tailored technology solutions and targeted change management strategies.
Sierra has over six years of experience at INSIGHT, spanning both Pricing Strategy and Product Management.

- Collaborated with dozens of clients across manufacturing, distribution, and professional services, utilizing product practice frameworks to facilitate solution requirements gathering and development of user-centric application designs
- Supported the design and implementation of a quoting solution for a national business service provider. This solution empowered an in-field sales team to quickly make strategic pricing decisions on multi-million-dollar contracts, creating 10% EBITA impact in the first year
- Led the design and development of a global price management solution for a $5B specialty chemicals manufacturer, this solution minimized manual pricing efforts and eliminated order entry errors, generating 2.5% of impact on touchable revenue
Sierra is a Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) and earned her B.S. in Accounting from Case Western Reserve University.
Will Hayes
Will is the Senior Product Manager of Analytics at INSIGHT2PROFIT. With over 13 years of experience in analytics, Will specializes in solving complex data problems for clients across various solutions, industries, and platforms. He has led multiple INSIGHT projects in industries including aerospace distribution, B2C retail hardware, hardwood manufacturing, and more. He continues to serve as an advisor and solutions architect across all INSIGHT engagements.
Prior to joining INSIGHT, Will held analytics-based roles in global food production and restaurant franchising companies.
